Tells you about your Gecko. (His Mum just
got him one.)
Stats:
Hugh’s one very
busy, very important gecko. He’s got loads of friends but
his absolute favourite gecko is his Mum. Now they’re always
in touch. Hugh’s favourite things to say are “Talk to the
suction caps”, “Get me on my Gecko” and “Too busy, Gecko
me”.
Hugh and his Mum are
very close, but Hugh’s also a very busy, very important
gecko. So Hugh’s Mum got him a Gecko mobile; that way they
could always be in touch. She’s not very au fait with
technology, but it’s a pretty simple phone, and definitely
not one of those kinds Hugh can go bananas on! (How can he?
Hugh’s Mum gets SMS Gecko-lerts sent to her mobile to let
her know if her little angel reaches Gecko-specified
limits.) Plus there’s only 5 picture keys and room for 22
outgoing numbers, which she controls. Hugh’s Mum can even
make sure only the geckos listed in his Gecko Tree (Phone
Book) can call him. These days, Hugh has his freedom and his
Mum can always reach him. Life is good.
He’s an IT guru.
He’s also one big gecko. In fact, the Wallabies wanted him
to play for them (which is pretty cool, considering they’re
Wallabies and he’s a gecko). But as soon as he hatched,
Oscar completely re-wired his own egg, so we hired him
instead.
She’s the serious,
arty one. (Hollie-Kate used to live in Paris.) An
alternative jazz fan, she’s the big sister of the group.
Very smart and knows it. Hollie-Kate always thinks before
she acts. Crafty has a massive crush on her and frankly,
she’s not ruling it out.
He’s not the
smartest tool in the shed, but he’s got a heart of gold,
always respects the ladies and has a huge family who he
speaks to everyday (especially Mum). Loves his food too.
Little Izzy’s the
baby of the group. She just loves her family, and doesn’t
like to be apart from anyone on her Gecko Tree for too long.
Little Izzy never forgets a birthday.
He’s not the biggest
gecko on the block, but he makes up for it in fast-talk.
He’s a real geezer like, and just loves the ladies. Image is
everything to Crafty. His best mate is Shifty; they are
always together. (Crafty’s got a massive crush on Hollie-Kate,
but would never tell her for fear of rejection. She’s way
too cool, even for Crafty.)
She wants to be
famous. She wants everything. Zo-Zo’s dream is to have her
own reality show. She’s into fashion, celebrity and is an
accessory queen - she never leaves the tree without a bit of
bling.
A classic Kiwi.
Nothing’s too hard, nothing’s too dangerous. Branson’s done
it all. Girls want to be with him, guys want to be him. He’s
got rugged good looks and knows how to keep them.
Athletic, healthy
and into all things holistic - she’s one self aware gecko.
Pilates is her like, life. She’s super flexible. Maisy is
convinced that Branson is in love with her (he is not).
Has a very small
ecological footprint. Hails from Byron and is the original
greenie, a tree-hugger through and through. A strict vegan,
lactose intolerant and grows his own organic food. Wears
brown Birkenstocks (2 pairs).
A born listener,
Margo never gets flustered and is blessed with understanding
and patience. She thinks everything should end with a hug
and a nice cup of tea.
Uber smart, Kat’s
the original power gecko. Totally qualified, and all over
it. Best friends with Hollie-Kate (duh, what’d you expect)?
Into CSI, Boston Legal and Ally McBeal (sometimes). Somewhat
surprisingly, has a massive crush on Shifty.
(Unexplainable).
He’s your man if you
need a gecko in a hurry. He works at the warehouse and no
order is too big or too complex. Pedro’s favourite
expression is “Akan-doit!!” Pedro is otherwise known as “The
Cuban”.
They do everything
together, and quite frankly, it’s kinda freaky. These guys
are massive Star Trek fans, and there’s nothing they can’t
