How much do my 000 emergency calls cost?
All calls to 000 in Australia are free. Calls to 000 should only be
made if there is a genuine emergency. We recommend that parents
discuss what kids should do in a situation that might involve
calling 000 assistance, and talk over scenarios that constitute an
emergency. We hope you'll never have to use this phone feature, but
it's always good to be prepared, just in case.

One of the coolest things about the Gecko phone is its Gecko
Fireworks light display. Here's what happens:
- The phone lights up every 5-10 minutes
when it's turned on and whenever the Fireworks button (between
the volume buttons on the left side of the phone) is pressed.
The lights go off after 15 seconds and when your Gecko phone is
turned off.
- The background colour on the display
panel changes during the Fireworks display (but will always be
red when the emergency call button is pressed).
- The lights on the call keys glow when
you press them and when you receive a call.
- A Gecko’s tail-lights flash when the
phone's battery is charging and every few minutes when it's on.
